Helping you find the value in nature.
Resilient Mitigation Solutions works at the intersection of regulatory compliance, environmental markets, and habitat conservation — helping developers, public agencies, and conservation investors navigate complex mitigation requirements while unlocking the financial and ecological value hidden inside them.
The name is intentional. Just as functioning native landscapes withstand environmental pressures over time, we craft strategies designed to hold up against shifting economic conditions and regulatory landscapes. Resilience isn't just a conservation principle here. It's a business one.
Every engagement gets senior-level attention, honest counsel, and a genuine investment in your success. We work closely with our clients and take the time to understand a project's full context so we can provide you with confident guidance and a clear path forward. We approach project challenges with expertise, creativity, and strong cross-disciplinary relationships to build durable, win-win solutions.
The environmental challenges our clients face are real. So are the financial opportunities. We're here to help you see both.
President and Principal Consultant
Marlene Tyner-Valencourt has dedicated her career to catalyzing habitat restoration and conservation — and to proving that good environmental outcomes and strong financial returns aren't mutually exclusive.
Her nearly 15 years of experience spans the full arc of mitigation banking: due diligence, financial modeling, market assessments, service area analysis, agency negotiations, and bank administration. She specializes in bank ledger design, rigorous credit and turnkey marketing programs, and bringing creative, say-yes energy to complicated project challenges — drawing on a deep technical background in wetland science, restoration ecology, and geospatial analysis to find both proven techniques and novel solutions.
Above all, Marlene ensures clients fully understand the regulatory context, market dynamics, risks, and opportunities around their projects so they can move forward with genuine confidence. Project success means positive environmental outcomes, and she's strongly invested in both.
Marlene is especially passionate about building complex Excel models, systems-level thinking, finding win-wins, Millennial music that used to be cool ok, cooking and enjoying delicious food with wonderful people, telling you about this one podcast episode she just listened to, and spending time with her amazing kids and husband.
